Take
a break from your hectic pace
and listen to the word of God!
As you try to uphold the Christian Way of Life in your business decisions and relationships, then you are in some ways serving God. When you approach your career in this manner, here is what God promises for those who serve Him:
No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper,
And you shall
confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the
heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their
vindication from me, says the Lord.
[Book of Isaiah 54:17]
The Lord redeems the life of his servants.
None of those who
take refuge in Him will be condemned.
[Book of Psalms 34:22]
Behold, my servant shall prosper,
he shall be
exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
[Book of Psalms 52:13]
When you think about your family and their
needs, know this:
The
children of His servants shall inherit it [the Heavenly Kingdom],
And those who love His name shall dwell in it.
[Book of Psalms 69:36]
When the project is not going well, or the
manager is not understanding or business is simply on the rocks, you may express
yourself in this way:
Deal bountifully
with thy servant, that I may live and observe thy word.
[Book of Psalms 119:17]
I am thy servant; give me understanding that I may know thy testimonies.
[Book of Psalms 119:125]
Hide not thy face from me.
Turn not thy servant away in anger,
Thou who hast been my help.
Cast me not off, forsake me not,
God of my salvation.
[Book of Psalms 27:9]
Let thy face shine on thy servant,
Save me
in thy steadfast love!
[Book of Psalms 31:9]
Here is a good way to finish off you day
full of challenges:
Praise
the Lord! Praise, O servants of the
Lord. Praise the name of the Lord!
[Book of Psalms 113:1]
