Epilogue

 "The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.”

The author hopes that this book has sketched an outline of how the Christian Faith brought a new understanding of spirituality, nobility, and human civilization, which in turn gave the Armenians a unique place in history. The Armenians who had already been in existence for centuries, in Christianity they found the spiritual structure upon which they could build a lasting, meaningful, and progressive noble civilization. This Armenian civilization embraced the strong values of loving God and neighbor, of striving for excellence in spirituality, education, arts, industry, professions, nationhood, and investing for the betterment of future generations by leaving a joyful legacy. For this reason, the Christian Faith and the Armenian civilization complemented each other and are inseparable today. The proof that the Christian Faith leads to a lasting human civilization is found within the continued advancement of the Armenian civilization. And conversely, the proof that the Armenian civilization is truly a lasting one, is demonstrated by the Armenian civilization’s ability to survive and blossom over the centuries while maintaining her Christian foundation and Way of Life.

In conclusion, this book describes the expansive characteristics that Armenians have cherished, nurtured, and passed on from generation to generation. These are the very characteristics that have made the Armenians a noble people and civilization in the past, continue to do so today, and by the grace of God will continue to keep them in the same worthy path in the future.
